The Appathon competition is geared around creating apps to address ‘challenges’ that will be set by the organisers and judging team. The challenges will be based around the available open datasets, which include health, education and environment. You can see the full data sets at http://data.gov.uk/appathon-2011.

Use this forum to throw out ideas for apps that you may want to tackle, and find other collaborators interested in exploring similar ideas. There’s no point two teams creating the same app – pool resources and build a stronger contender.
