My client are based in Sheffield and work with leading clients all round the UK. They are a highly ranked digital agency which work with big brands.
They are looking for an enthusiastic PHP developer to work on back-end projects alongside a multi-discipline team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about their work and have good commercial experience of PHP(5) & MySQL, Zend Framework, SVN, LAMP and MVC. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
•Developing and testing web applications with PHP as the core technology.
•Coding to agreed industry standards and producing markup compliant with W3C
standards and developed with consideration to accessibility issues.
•Testing sample data-sets to check that output from the program works as intended.
•Recreating steps taken by the user to locate sources of problems.
•Working with quality assurance procedures as defined by the Company.
•Work within a team environment supported by SVN
Qualifications & Experience
3+ years of quality commercial experience with exposure to the following is expected:
•PHP & MySQL
•Zend Framework
•Knowledge of security issues
•XML
•JavaScript
•HTML
•CSS
Beneficial additional experience
•Drupal
•Object Oriented Programming
•JQuery
•Unit testing with PHP unit
•PGP/GPG
•SVN
Specific education in related fields is not essential. Significant experience is.
