    At last!

The venue for the initial (informal) user group meet up on Wednesday the 16th June has been arranged. We shall be meeting at the Old House on Devonshire Street at around 6:30 – 7:00 (They serve good food and have a good choice of beers). The aim of the night is for everybody to meet and talk about what they would like to see us doing as a group, where we should meet, who we would like to come and talk, etc.

This meet is not just for Flash peeps, if people would like to gear it towards other tools (Photoshop? Premiere? Unity?), please come along and let us know as we would like to steer the topics around the interests of those in the group.

If you could Tweet us (@TeamCooperLtd) / Reply here to say if you are coming, or thinking of coming, that would help me get a better idea of numbers so I can pre-warn the Old House.

If you’ve never been to the Old House before, you can find it on Google maps here: http://bit.ly/99b8fn
    The address is: 113-117 Devonshire Street, Sheffield, S3 7SB. 0114 276 6002.

    See you then!

Hi Tim, Chris from DigForFire here, I’m hoping to come along to one of these and see what its all about, whilst the Flash stuff is of some interest I spend far more time in Photoshop so could help steer it that way.

Would be great to get some debate going about concept and layout development and the best platforms to be doing it on Photoshop/Fireworks/Dreamweaver or straight to browser CSS/HTML. Perhaps not limited to Adobe, but it seems to the big favourites are Fireworks and Photoshop.
